LVL
Laminated veneer lumber (LVL) is a strong, dimensionally stable engineered wood product used in a diverse range of building applications.
LVL is produced from 3 mm thick rotary-peeled softwood veneers which are bonded together under heat and pressure to form a homogenous construction product with excellent technical properties but still easy to work.
LVL can be used for structural beams, floor joists, lintels as an alternative to steel, concrete or solid timber as well as rimboard in floor cassettes.
It is easy to cut, drill and fix using only standard wood working tools and can be easily combined with other constructions products.
