Consolidated Timber Holdings has reinforced its commitment to protecting employees by launching a new three-year Health & Safety Strategic Plan for 2026–2028, alongside its 2026 HS Plan and Objectives.
The strategy will support continual improvement across all CTH businesses, including its two divisions, Falcon Timber and Hoffman Triesse, ensuring a consistent approach to health, safety and wellbeing across the Group.
Built around five key H&S focal areas, the strategy will guide CTH’s approach to creating safer workplaces, strengthening leadership engagement and supporting the wellbeing of employees across the business.
The five focal areas are:
- Proactive Leadership & Commitment
- Risk Management
- Health & Safety Culture Development
- Health & Safety Management System
- Health & Wellbeing
By focusing on these priorities, CTH aims to further enhance safety performance, improve risk controls, increase workforce engagement and continue working to achieve ISO 45001 certification.
The strategy reflects the company’s belief that a strong safety culture begins with visible leadership and active participation at every level of the organisation. Through greater collaboration, accountability and continuous learning, CTH will continue to build an environment where everyone takes ownership of health and safety.
A key aspect of the plan is its emphasis on health and wellbeing, recognising that supporting employees extends beyond physical safety. The strategy seeks to promote a positive working environment where colleagues feel supported, valued and empowered to contribute to the success of the business.
