What is FORS?
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary UK-based accreditation designed to improve standards in the road transport industry.
Used by commercial fleet operators to promote best practices in road safety, environmental standards and operational efficiency. FORS is a market leading accreditation that sets the standard for safer, smarter and greener road transport operations.
Why it matters
FORS is recognised across the industry. For us it’s not just a certificate, it’s a commitment to our continuous improvement. By maintaining these standards for our HGV’s, we ensure our vehicles are operated safely, our drivers are well-trained and supported and our environmental impact is continually reduced.
This standard of fleet management not only protects our people and the public but also enhances the service we provide to our customers, giving them confidence that Falcon Timber delivers responsibly, safely and sustainably every time.
Recognising The Achievement
Not only did we pass all audits – we did it with zero minors!
This fantastic accomplishment would not have been possible without the leadership and dedication of our team. Their hands-on approach, detailed knowledge and strive to be better, have been instrumental in achieving full accreditation.
We would also like to recognise and thank all our site Operations Managers, whose consistent focus on safety and their hard work has ensured that every depot meets the exacting FORS standards. Their excellence has set a great benchmark for success across the Falcon Timber network.
