PROCESSING
Falcon Timber works closely with dedicated panel processors to offer STREbord® in various protective finishes. Reliable, consistent and effective, these can be applied to one or both surfaces.
FIRE PROTECTION AND REACTION TO FIRE

ENVIRONMENT
STREbord® is environmentally friendly, using wood from sustainable forests. It conforms with current formaldehyde emission classes to BS EN 120 – perforator test method.
All STREbord® products carry FSC® certification and can be specified with the confidence that Falcon Timber are committed to sourcing all of its timber from responsibly managed forests. Furthermore, a large percentage of raw materials used in manufacturing STREbord® are from recycled materials. Go to our Environment page.
INSTALLING
STREbord® panels are usually fixed directly and simply to the supporting structural steelwork using self-tapping screws. Ensuring the longer tongue is uppermost, the boards are laid in a traditional staggered, brick-bond pattern. Joints should be tightly formed and all short edges supported. A minimum 10mm expansion gap is normally recommended between the deck edge and any wall.
Following these simple guidelines will give a smart, secure finish and when stiffly and evenly supported, STREbord® may accommodate hand pallet truck loadings exceeding 1.0 ton dependent on support centres.
